HotelPlanner and Meetings.com, the world's largest provider of online group hotel bookings and event management services, had their grand opening on Friday, December 11th located at the PNC Bank Building on 205 Datura St.
The new, larger office space was celebrated with more than 300 employees, family and friends, as well as local business affiliates, politicians, media, and NFL superstars.
Highlights from grand opening included:
- CEO Tim Hentschel and CIO John Prince with Jeri Muoio, Mayor of West Palm Beach, did the ribbon cutting, officially marking the grand opening of the new 15,000 square foot office space
- Lemuel Stinson, former Football Cornerback for the Chicago Bears, Jesse Chatman, former Running back for the San Diego Chargers, and from the Dolphins, former Cornerback Sam Madison and Running back Mark Higgs were in attendance
- KVJ Morning Show co-host Virginia from 97.9 WRMF did a remote broadcast with giveaways
- Hundreds of toys donated to the Toys for Tots foundation assisted by two U.S. Marines
With 55 workers at its global headquarters alone and another 65 team members worldwide, the company is now expected to expand hiring by up to 120 people within the next 24 to 36 months.
