Streaming video news app, Headliner, has just released their latest build. In version 2.5 of the news app, Headliner introduces a "Featured Feed", which makes the user experience more organized and streamlined. Users can scan all the top headlines they need to know at any given point, and watch the best user-created videos associated with the headlines. Content creators contributing their take on news headlines to the app include young talent ranging from comedians and actors to bloggers and publishers.
On the Headliner app, anyone to give their take on select news headlines by filming a video about it. Users are encouraged to make their headline videos both informative and entertaining. Relative to the previous version, this version is more organized and boasts a cleaner user interface.
Additionally, the new build unveils a Headliner leaderboard, displaying the videos and users garnering the most attention and popularity app-wide, creating a gamified experience for those creating headline videos. The leaderboard resets daily, and new leaders are selected automatically by Headliner's proprietary algorithm based on engagement within the app.
Daily push notifications around a particular news headline encourage users to broadcast and give their take on everything from Donald Trump to Stephen Curry & more.
