PHOX Texting Service Enhances Privacy with Text Blocking Feature

Unlike an application that requires downloading, PHOX is a service that allows users to send and receive texts as usual while hiding their private number behind a public PHOX “Go-Between” number.
Text-Blocking = Enhanced Privacy
The text-blocking feature now allows PHOX users to block texts. If a PHOX user wants to block someone who is texting them, they simply send PHOX a “block” text for that Go-Between number. That number in turn may be reinstated as a Go-Between number by texting “unblock.” Block lists may also be viewed on the web site.
PHOX is ideal for situations when you want to avoid disclosing your phone number, but need to text publicly. Example uses for PHOX include: online classified purchases or sales, online dating, car service reservations, online forms and retail discount clubs.
PHOX routes text messages to the customer’s personal, private cell number without compromising privacy.
