Bandura® Signs Collaborative Research and Development Agreement With U.S. Department of Homeland Security
Saint Louis, MO (PRWEB) December 03, 2015 -- Bandura, a pioneer in the automation of threat intelligence identification precision in cyber security technologies, today announced that it has signed a Collaborative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Bandura can now share and gain access to new threat information which will contribute to the precision of its cyber threat risk-scoring and automated remediation capability that prevents cyber attack and data leakage for users of its PoliWall® and ProACT™ security platform.
The CRADA will allow Bandura to participate in the Cyber Information and Sharing and Collaboration Program (CISCP), which provides for the sharing of cyber incident, vulnerability and threat information in near real-time from threat activity data observed and submitted by CISCP participants.
Additionally, Bandura will participate in the Enhanced Cybersecurity Services (ECS) Program, where the Department of Homeland Security shares government-vetted cyber threat information with trusted participants, helping them protect systems from unauthorized access or data exfiltration.
Bandura’s partnership with DHS helps the company to collectively protect the US and its customers from ever-increasing numbers, complexity, quick mutation and severity of threats.
In addition to improving network security, the CISCP program provides additional value to Bandura’s PoliWall open security platform, that will make the DHS threat data available to Critical Infrastructure participants large and small, including those who do not have the network or staff to be able to consume and act on this important cyber threat information.
