NetNumber TITAN Selected by BICS for Interworking and Advanced Routing and Provisioning to Deliver New Services

“NetNumber’s Titan platform best supports our requirements for interworking and the advanced routing and provisioning necessary to deliver new services to our customers.”

NetNumber announced today BICS, a global leader in wholesale communications services, has selected NetNumber TITAN to provide intelligent routing capabilities to further enrich its IPX based services. This next-generation network enables MNOs internationally to accelerate their launch of new and enriched communication services to their end users.

NetNumber TITAN is the industry’s most robust centralized signaling and routing (CSRC) platform, which delivers SS7/C7, SIGTRAN, ENUM, DNS, SIP and DIAMETER services on the same signaling-control platform while centralizing the provisioning and simplifying the network’s OSS/BSS layers. TITAN is transforming how Interconnect operators deliver new VoLTE and OTT services to their customers while drastically simplifying the network core and reducing operating costs through a virtualized ready platform.

BICS is deploying the SIP Routing Proxy (SRP) combined with the INAP Routing application provided in TITAN. Adding an SRP to a core network dramatically accelerates the delivery of new services. The NetNumber SRP application provides a single point of provisioning for routing policy updates that are applied in real-time across the network, and offers the unique capability to apply routing policy updates across network domains.

“We have selected NetNumber TITAN to enrich our robust IPX based solutions after careful consideration of the technical requirements and vendor capabilities,” said Geert Goethals, CTO of BICS. “NetNumber’s Titan platform best supports our requirements for interworking and the advanced routing and provisioning necessary to deliver new services to our customers.”

“We are delighted to have been chosen by BICS to onboard NetNumber in their journey of rolling out next generation communication services. It has been an enriching experience for us to work with them, and we consider BICS to be one of the leading edge providers in transforming the way innovative services are being rolled out and delivered to the global telco industry,” said Matt Rosenberg, NetNumber vice president of Global Sales, Solution Design and Product Management.

Today, TITAN is deployed on more than 350 servers on five continents, and supports more than 200 billion transactions per month.
