OMedLive will present medical oncologists, oncology nurses, and other health care professionals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer with the opportunity to learn the latest science around treating metastatic pancreatic cancer live via online video at no cost. The event will be held on December 11 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET at This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Center for Continuing Education and PlatformQ Health Education. The University of Nebraska Medical Center, Center for Continuing Education is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The program will feature Tanios Bekaii-Saab, MD, FACP, of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and Eileen M. O'Reilly, MD, of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Topics in the two, hour-long programs will include: Current information regarding recent guideline recommendations for optimal management of metastatic pancreatic cancer; recent FDA approvals for metastatic pancreatic cancer treatments; overcoming chemotherapeutic treatment resistance; emerging data on new therapeutic agents and regimens; potential targeted therapies for pancreatic cancer. This activity is supported by educational grants from Incyte Corporation and Merrimack Pharmaceuticals.
