Santa Fe University of Art and Design and Dream Careers Announce Collaboration to Expand Access to Global Academic Internships
Santa Fe, NM (PRWEB) December 07, 2015 -- This summer Santa Fe University of Art and Design (SFUAD) and Dream Careers, a global leader in placement-based academic and experiential education programs, are collaborating to expand the number of academic internship programs available to SFUAD students in 11 of the most competitive cities worldwide. The eight-week customized summer internship program spans cities from L.A. to New York, and London to Hong Kong. Dream Careers has connections with more than 3,000 employers in 30 industries — including film, music, photography, television, casting/talent, marketing and advertising — and has previously placed students with internships at companies such as Universal, Condé Nast, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and HBO .The university will be offering select scholarships to assist SFUAD students in pursuing an internship experience through the program.

Dream Careers has been the global leader in academic internship programs for over 15 years, offering structured internship programs in Paris, Barcelona, Hong Kong, London, as well as cities throughout the United States including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C. and Miami.
Students accepted into the Dream Careers program will be guaranteed an internship, along with housing in their host city, on-site support staff to help acquaint them with their host city, transportation to and from the internship, and support obtaining their visas. Participating students will also have the opportunity to attend career development seminars and workshops that help elevate their networking and interviewing skills, offer interview preparation, professional resume enhancement and job search tips, and connect them with other program alumni and industry professionals during special mixer events.
