We are thrilled to be able to make Christmas all that little bit more special for some very deserving families this year; it has been a great pleasure to work with local schools and charities to enable this to happen.

Stoke-on-Trent based Autonet Insurance have always been passionate about giving something back to their local community and this Christmas is no different. After recently becoming sponsors of the Regent Theatre & Victoria Hall also based in Stoke-on-Trent, they wanted to utilise this opportunity as best they could to spread some well needed Christmas cheer to underprivileged families in the local area.

After consulting with various schools in the area and Alice Charity; a local charity who help disadvantaged families, Autonet have donated 58 tickets to families in need of a little extra Christmas joy this year.

Rachel Betley, Fundraising Administrator at Alice Charity said "Christmas is a very tough time for some of the families that we work with and they are often unable to go out as a family due to the expense. The tickets will go to some very deserving families who will have a fantastic time together as a family, that they wouldn’t have been able to do without Autonet’s kind donation."

In addition to donating tickets to local families, Autonet wanted to give an extra special Christmas treat to their staff and their families to thank them for their contribution to yet another outstanding year for the company. So they have organised, alongside the Regent Theatre to take over 250 employees and their families to watch this years’ Peter Pan Pantomime starring Jonathan Wilkes and Christian Patterson with some special surprises and some extra special surprise guests in attendance just for Autonet staff.

Autonet’s Managing Director, Ian Donaldson said “We are thrilled to be able to make Christmas all that little bit more special for some very deserving families this year; it has been a great pleasure to work with local schools and charities to enable this to happen. Also it’s great to be able to give a little back to our staff by holding this fantastic Christmas children’s panto party for them at the Regent Theatre, the children are going to love the surprises we have in store for them."
