The auction supports national non-profit Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, as autism is an issue of personal significance for Rapper and TV Culinary Star Action Bronson and VICE Media Co-President James Schwab. Winner of the Charitybuzz auction gets a once-in-a-lifetime cooking lesson and a wine-paired lunch for four with Bronson and Schwab.


Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health will benefit from a Charitybuzz auction that features Rapper and TV Culinary Star Action Bronson and VICE Media Co-President James Schwab.

changing the world, bidders can vie to win a priceless opportunity for four to indulge in a cooking lesson and wine-paired lunch with rapper and television culinary star, Action Bronson, and VICE Media Co-President James Schwab. VICE Media Founder, Shane Smith, will generously provide a group of extraordinary wines from his legendary personal cellar to pair with the meal. The lesson and lunch will be hosted in the brand new, official Munchies Test Kitchen and dining room at Vice HQ in Brooklyn. The auction is live and closes Thursday, December 17th.

Cooking with Action Bronson and James Schwab

The lesson and lunch, which promise to be raucous, will be professionally filmed by VICE. Footage will be given to the winning bidder, and excerpts may be included on Action’s show for Munchies, which follows his culinary adventures during his ongoing world tour.


Autism Awareness and service development is a cause close to both VIPs’ hearts. Schwab’s son and Action’s nephew have Autism. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides supported community living and employment services to Schwab’s son and tens of thousands of others with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health struggles across the country every year.

Schwab serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Devereux; is a co-founder of Autism Speaks and a member of its Housing and Residential Supports Committee; and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Empowering Citizens with Autism. In his role of Co-President of VICE Media, he works to grow VICE's reach and impact, expanding its content and distribution platforms. Last month, Schwab finalized the deal on Vice’s first 24-hour premium network. Before joining Vice, while partner at the international law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkin, Wharton & Garrison, Schwab served as long-term counsel and strategic adviser to VICE on its overall business strategy, including in its partnerships with A&E Networks, Rogers Communications, YouTube, Live Nation, HBO, and more.
