Dashlane, the world’s leading password manager and digital wallet, received another market-leading accolade as it was one of a handful of apps selected by Google to their Best Android Apps of 2015 list. Dashlane was the only password and identity management app to receive this designation from Google, which follows the Editor's Choice and Top Developer awards that Dashlane also received from Google this year.

In addition to Google’s “Best of 2015”, Dashlane has received additional accolades in recent weeks: PC Magazine selected Dashlane as one of its “Best Products of 2015” and stated that it, “handles all of your passwords with ease and flair.” The financial experts at Kiplinger’s also honored Dashlane by including them in the “Best Personal Finance Products and Services of 2015” list.

Other Google and Android accolades received by Dashlane in 2015 included:

May – Dashlane announced at Google I/O that it was the first password manager to offer users automatic login on Android devices. Dashlane was able to utilize two new APIs from Android Marshmallow, allowing users to use their fingerprint instead of typing their passwords to access all of their passwords and data stored in Dashlane.

July – Dashlane added Samsung Finger Scanner to the Dashlane Android App. The move let users of Galaxy S5, S6, Note 4, and Note Edge devices utilize biometric authentication technology to get instant access to their personal information with their fingerprint.

September – Dashlane earned Editor’s Choice on the Google Play Store. The selection was momentous as Dashlane was the first, and only, password manager selected for this prestigious designation by Google.
