Healthcare recruitment agency MedicsPro has been announced as one of the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 companies. Ranked 28th this represents a landmark achievement for the company.
The Fast Track 100, now in its 19th year, places 100 privately owned companies into a list based on their growth over the course of three years.
The list takes into account ownership of a company and the number of staff employed, along with typical sales growth of between 45% and 250% within 3 years. The Fast Track 100 also requires ranking companies to have sales of between £5m and £100m.
MedicsPro’s Chief Executive, Russell Prince said: “We are thrilled to be ranking number 28 in the Fast Track 100. We have seen significant growth in our business and our sales over the last 3 years and hope to continue to grow and lead the way within the healthcare recruitment industry.”
The directors of MedicsPro will be attending an annual awards event at Richard Branson’s family home in Oxfordshire.
Other companies ranked within the Fast Track 100 in recent years include Innocent, Graze, Carphone Warehouse, Victoria Beckham, and Oak Furniture Land.
MedicsPro has won various contracts with hospital trusts including the NHS London Procurement Partnership. In August, the company acquired Key Locums, an agency focused on supplying GPs and practice nurses nationwide, adding to their growing list of healthcare sectors already including nurses, medical locums, Allied Health Professionals, and Health Science Staff.
MedicsPro also opened doors to a new office in central London, catering to the needs of the capital city and southeast England. This additional office, along with their existing locations in Essex, Leytonstone, and Birmingham boosted sales from £7.3m in 2012 to £42m for this year.
