John Perez Celebrates 15 Years of Service with McCaffrey Homes
FRESNO, Calif. (PRWEB) December 14, 2015 -- John Perez recently celebrated his 15th anniversary as a valued team member of McCaffrey Homes – a leading, third-generation family home builder in California’s Central San Joaquin Valley.
JP, as he’s known, shared his thoughts on this major career milestone and his decade and a half of building award-winning new homes in the local Fresno, Calif.-area.
“Riverside Business Park was my first solo job for McCaffrey Homes,” Perez said. “It was an important project for the firm, so it really stands out.”
In addition, JP has helped build many stunning model homes for McCaffrey Homes over the years.
“All of our model homes are special to me in different ways,” Perez said, “but my favorite was the Crownstone. It had such openness, especially when you walked into the family room.”
Perez was asked to describe the process of building award-winning model homes with the firm’s owners, Karen and Bob McCaffrey, and a team of leading architects and designers.
“It’s very exciting and intense,” he said. “When you walk the models with the team, it’s important to take careful notes on all of the changes and new items,” Perez said. “And your notes better match Mrs. McCaffrey’s,” he added with a smile.
JP also led the team for the construction of McCaffrey Homes’ 13,000 square foot headquarters. “It was a great experience to work on this building,” he said.
“From the concrete, steel posts and the roof beam, the job took 16 months. The Tuscan design with two towers and the lush landscaping look awesome,” Perez said. “What’s really impressive is all of the woodwork and the round ceiling in the kitchen,” he added.
The hard work of JP and the project team combined to create a spacious and inviting home for all departments of McCaffrey Homes.
“JP’s warm heart and wonderful attitude are a gift to our homeowners and to all of us here at McCaffrey Homes,” said Karen McCaffrey, Vice President of the homebuilder.
“When he walks one of our communities, all of our residents know John and are happy to see him. Over his first 15 years with our firm, he’s taken on some of our most important projects and always done an exceptional job,” McCaffrey added.
JP’s anniversary celebration included a trip to San Francisco to see his favorite baseball team in action. Perez got to spend family time with his grandchildren and watch the San Francisco Giants beat the Washington Nationals, paced by great pitching and a home run from Madison Bumgarner, the MVP of the 2014 World Series.
