Listen Up Español Answers Over 47,000 Calls in 31 hours During the 2015 TeletonUSA Live Fundraising Event Aired on Univision
Portland, ME (PRWEB) December 10, 2015 -- For the third consecutive year, bilingual call center Listen Up Español answered all live incoming donation calls during the TeletonUSA charity event on Dec. 4-6, 2015.
The event raised over $15 million from over 350,000 total donors and over 18,000 donation canisters during the 31-hour live broadcast. Listen Up Español individually handled over 47,000 calls and 33,000 donations contributing to TeletonUSA’s overall fundraising goal for the event. This year, as in previous years, all incoming donation calls handled by Listen Up Español were powered by LiveOps Cloud Contact Center Platform technology.

TeletonUSA’s goal was to raise charitable contributions of over $15 million for this year’s event. The funds raised will support the Children’s Rehabilitation Institute of TeletonUSA (CRIT) in San Antonio, Texas as well as future CRIT locations throughout the Unites States. Univision network televised the event, which included over 20 celebrities and entertainment performances while featuring 55 patients who are currently in treatment.
