The Science Center's December 15th Smart Talk session will feature owner and creative visionary behind Replica Global, LLC, Chairman of the Lenfest Foundation and practicing physician, Dr. Leaphart.

From an illegal candy business at age 11 to a successful businessman, doctor and community leader, Keith Leaphart’s life has been defined by an entrepreneurial mindset. Now owner and creative visionary behind Replica Global, LLC, Chairman of the Lenfest Foundation and a practicing physician, Dr. Leaphart will share the story of his journey from West Oak Lane to a decorated career that defies industry boundaries at a December 15th Smart Talk session at the University City Science Center. The Smart Talk program will run from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. at Quorum at the University City Science Center, 3711 Market Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia.

In 2003, Dr. Leaphart completed a five-year dual degree program at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Saint Joseph’s University respectively. Despite the inherent challenges of a dual degree program, Leaphart successfully operated both a commercial cleaning and event planning business during that period. It was those entrepreneurial pursuits that gave him his initial exposure to the fascinating design and print worlds, and led him to aggressively pursue a greater interest in the industry. As the Brand Manager of Replica, he works with the team to create the strategic vision for the brand. Leaphart also serves as President & CEO of Replica Global, LLC, parent company for Replica Creative, is currently on staff at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, and has chaired the board of the Lenfest Foundation since 2013.

Smart Talk is a quarterly Science Center program that gives startup and growing companies a look at best practices and business strategies from industry leaders in the region. Smart Talk is sponsored by TriNet.
