Brittany Neilson has been named the new Director of Customer Support for MyDivorcePapers (MDP), the online divorce site committed to simplifying the difficult process of divorce for do-it-yourself candidates.
Neilson has worked in customer-facing businesses since 2008 and possesses the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to help divorcees navigate the difficulties of divorce.
While many divorce sites are offered come-as-you-are, MDP encourages couples seeking an online divorce to first determine whether they are eligible for the type of process that DIY divorce is. Part of MDP’s reputation for stellar customer care comes from its ability to advise prospects on whether the process is the best one for them.
MDP primarily works with couples in low-conflict divorce situations. The service operates with an intuitive, automated system that fills in answers on jurisdiction-appropriate divorce papers as individuals supply their answers. This do-it-yourself divorce process relies heavily on cooperation and compromise, and couples that are capable of doing so are encouraged to apply.
“We believe that the vast majority of divorces can steer clear of the attorneys’ offices,” Neilson said. “Of course, if there is any unresolvable conflict, we encourage our applicants to seek legal counsel. It’s always best to do right by the customer and to see through the business aspects and view them as people, because that’s what they are. They don’t need to add frustration and challenge to an already challenging situation, and we work to make sure that doesn’t happen.”
Neilson is a student of customer care, having worked directly with consumers for close to a decade. In 2011, she stepped into her first management position at Massage Envy, a health and wellness business with close to 1 million customers and counting. Neilson continued to work in management positions within the industry for the next four years, while working simultaneously as a director for McClain Concepts, a parent company of MDP.
She transitioned to the Director of Customer Care role in 2015.
“Driving customer satisfaction is at the core of what this team does,” Neilson said while directly addressing the promotion. “We always want to make sure we go above and beyond helping the customer with a smooth process from the start to the end of our services. Divorce itself is a hard time for many and here at MyDivorcePapers we try and make this time an easier one. I consider myself truly fortunate to be working with such a progressive and rapidly expanding company.”
MyDivorcePapers (MDP) is one of the oldest and most-respected websites for facilitating easy online divorce filings. The company does extensive research in the field of divorce, and has been featured on Huffington Post as well as the San Francisco Chronicle’s website, among others. MDP offers up-to-date forms and information for applicants in all 50 states, and they do it at a cost of less than $200. Additional filing fees will apply depending on jurisdiction.
