Sport Court Teams up with Nancy Lieberman For New DreamCourt to Provide Local Youth with Safe, Outdoor Recreation
Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) December 11, 2015 -- Connor Sport Court International (CSCI) has teamed up with Nancy Lieberman Charities and the World Ventures Foundation to provide a new Sport Court® outdoor DreamCourt playing surface that will create new and safe outdoor recreation opportunities for local youth in Sacramento.
DreamCourts are state-of-the-art basketball facilities built in lower-income communities through a collaboration among the WorldVentures Foundation™, Nancy Lieberman Charities and Sport Court®.
The colorful new DreamCourt PowerGame™ modular surface from Sport Court was formally dedicated Dec. 9 at Margarette “Mama” Marks Park in Sacramento with new assistant coach for the Kings Nancy Lieberman in attendance. Also on hand for the dedication event were World Ventures Holdings’ CEO Dan Stammen and Gwyneth Lloyd of the World Ventures Foundation, City of Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, Sacramento Kings' mascot Slamson the Lion and team cheerleaders and Joel McCausland of Sport Court.
"Every time my Nancy Lieberman Charities and the WorldVentures Foundation opens a new DreamCourt, we do so with our partner SportCourt,” said Nancy Lieberman. “They use their expert Courtbuilder network to create these beautiful play spaces for kids. I'm proud of the SportCourt family because they share our belief that children around the world should live safe, happy lives. This shared commitment makes our partnership a perfect fit, as SportCourt brings our mission to life through colorful, safe basketball DreamCourts."
This Sport Court initiative in Sacramento adds to the company’s partnership with the Kings’ franchise that has selected Connor Sport Court International hardwood court brand Connor Sports for a new custom-designed QuickLock™ court that will become the playing surface at the team’s new downtown Golden 1 Center arena in 2016.
