American River College Culinary Arts Program Receives Major Upgrade

Des Hague, Co-Founder of Aegis Enterprises and Partner of WC&A, is pleased to announce that American River College's culinary program has received a major facilities facelift and the final phases of the $8.6 million construction project recently wrapped up. The culinary arts teaching space at this community college, whose alums include TV personality Guy Fieri, grew from 2,000 square feet to 13,600 square feet. WC&A's foodservice equipment budget exceeded $1.0+ million for the renovated building which now features five teaching labs, a retail bakery, a demonstration kitchen theater and the student-run Oak Cafe, a fine-dining restaurant that's open to the public.
