The Treatment Journal is a valuable resource for breast cancer patients and their caregivers, available at no cost. Designed and developed by UBCF, the Treatment Journal is a set of documents to assist patients with tracking various medications, treatments, appointments, scans and personal experiences. Navigating breast cancer is no simple task. By offering the Treatment Journal, UBCF hopes to make the journey through breast cancer less stressful.
In an interview, UBCF’s Executive Director, Ms. Stephanie Mastroianni, had this to say, “'I'm pleased that one of UBCF’s talented interns, Ms. Anam Tariq, created the Treatment Journal in an effort to help keep track of her mother's diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. This example reinforces the heart that goes into the work that we do and how close each of us are to this disease in one way or another.”
