CyberFlow Analytics Selected as Grand Prize Winner in the Cisco Innovation Grand Challenge
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) December 15, 2015 -- CyberFlow Analytics has won the Cisco Innovation Grand Challenge contest which was announced on December 8th at the IoT World Forum in Dubai. CyberFlow Analytics and two runner-ups were selected from over 3,000 submissions across 100 countries during a series of judgment rounds that produced six finalists. Alex Goryachev, Cisco Director of Innovation Programs and Strategy, called the six finalists in the competition the “Super Six” by having exemplified the breaking edges of innovations in today’s tech landscape.
“While each of the finalists provide innovative solutions, the panel of judges was most impressed by CyberFlow Analytics. Their current solution is unique in how it solves complex security issues in enterprises and smart cities. Additionally, they are well poised to be a leader in securing the IoT as the market continues to grow,” commented Mr. Goryachev.
CyberFlow Analytics is an emerging leader in the IoT Cyber Security market with its Security Network Behavior Analytics solution FlowScape. CyberFlow coined the term “Anomalytics” which includes anomaly detection using Binocular Fusion Analytics™, Threat Intelligence and Advanced Visualization to detect cybercriminal activity and insider threats. Additionally with the FlowScape CyberHooks™ integration layer, both enterprise and Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) customers can augment their existing systems, such as SIEM solutions, to close the gap on cyber security.
Six finalists from Canada, Finland, Germany and the United States delivered “Shark Tank-like” pitches and demos before a live audience and finalist judges – themselves a “who’s who” of IoT industry leadership:
• Mohammad Albataineh, Worldwide Sales, Internet of Things, IBM Dubai
• Sujeet Chand, SVP and CTO, Rockwell Automation
• Georg Kopetz, Executive Board Member, TTTech Comptertechnik AG
• Maciej Kranz, VP, Corporate Strategic Innovation Group, Cisco
