Sevatec, Inc. (Sevatec), a leading provider of Agile software, data sciences, and cyber engineering solutions for the federal government, announced today that it was awarded a prime contract to provide an Incident Response, Reporting and Tracking Solution for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Cyber Security Division.
The Sevatec team includes trusted partners, Defense Point Security (DPS) and RSA. NOAA is a scientific agency whose mission is to manage and deliver critical data and information to citizens in the areas of weather and water forecasts services, search and rescue, climate change, environmental images, coastal maps, and ecosystems management. NOAA’s Cyber Security Division is responsible for managing NOAA’s IT Security Program, including the development of policy and planning the oversight of all IT security, ensuring integrity, privacy and availability of NOAA data and information.
Sevatec’s recent successes within NOAA include an award for a follow-on contract to continue providing support for the NCSC and the Enterprise Security Oversight Center (ESOC), the key drivers of NOAA’s IT Security Program.
