USA Officer’s Quick Call-to-Action Saved a Life

Recently, U.S. Security Associates recognized Supervisor Chaka Payne for his heroic efforts when an employee collapsed and suffered a cardiac event while he was on duty in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Supervisor Payne’s quick call-to-action demonstrates his participation in USA’s comprehensive training program, which was voted top 125 training program again in 2015 for the 10th year in a row by Training magazine. He provided life-saving CPR while waiting on an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), a portable device used to assess and treat cardiac events. Once he received the AED, he was able to further treat the distressed employee by utilizing tactics he acquired in his training. By the time the public first responders were on the scene, the employee had been revived and was breathing on his own. The client described his actions as nothing less than “remarkable,” and extended their appreciation, stating “Supervisor Payne is truly an asset to our Company!”
