WebLinc Reports Holiday Mobile Sales Grew as High as 83% for Clients Year-over-Year

WebLinc, the commerce platform provider for the fastest growing online retailers, today announced that clients on its WebLinc Commerce Platform saw mobile revenue increase as much as 83 percent during the 2015 five day Thanksgiving weekend (Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday).

All of WebLinc’s data indicates that retailers who sent customers mobile-friendly emails that took them to responsive sites were rewarded with more sales and higher conversion rates. For WebLinc’s top five performing clients, email marketing led all referral channels bringing in 37.6 percent of revenue and 49.8 percent of mobile traffic.

Findings from WebLinc’s data shows that holiday shoppers are coming in through mobile channels, staying to shop longer and exiting with a purchase on mobile.

Below are additional highlights for WebLinc’s top-performing clients:

  • Sixty percent of overall traffic was returning users coming in from emails
  • Mobile conversion rates increased 32.43 percent year-over-year
  • Average mobile time on site was 6 minutes and 50 seconds, an increase of 45.75 percent over 2014

Hill. “Retailers are there now, and that’s why mobile revenue saw huge gains across the board."
