ClearPoint Strategy Presents the Second Annual Strategy and Performance Management Summit
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) December 17, 2015 -- ClearPoint Strategy’s event will focus on how to jump start your strategic planning process and take management reporting to the next level. Strategy and performance management leaders from many industries will share and discuss best practices in performance management. The summit will feature keynote speakers and two tracks focused on performance management and leveraging technology for management reporting.
Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to network and learn from fellow strategy and performance management colleagues, including several structured group discussions. Strategy management leaders who attended last year’s summit enjoyed the opportunity to hear from and talk to other organizations going through the strategic planning process and how they handled the good and the bad during each level of implementation.
Christine Thrower from West Palm Beach said, "The dialog and interaction at this event met and exceeded my expectations.” Another attendee from a Colorado municipality asked, “Please let’s keep the conversation going throughout the year” about how to leverage the information shared from the event.
In 2016, the City of Fort Lauderdale will kick off the event with a welcome from the City and a presentation of their strategic planning process. Amy Knowles from Fort Lauderdale remarked, “We are excited to be hosting this event for a second time. Last year, we had such great energy and enthusiasm, and we are looking forward to a new round of speakers and best practice sharing.” Other keynote speakers include The Boys and Girls Club of Puerto Rico and ClearPoint Strategy.
The City of Fort Worth, Texas will begin the track on leveraging technology by telling the story of how they began their performance management reporting process and how it has evolved. The City of Fort Collins, Colorado and Sarasota County, Florida will then offer their strategies for sharing results with a community dashboard. The performance management track will feature AIG and Quimica Apollo discussing how they align their strategic plan across their organization, followed by SBS Group and the City of Olathe, Kansas discussing how they manage their information to make management decisions.
The Strategy and Performance Management Summit will be held on February 23, 2016 from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm, with a networking reception to follow. The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida is hosting the event at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
