Within the pages of Karrisa Josselyn’s new book, Practically Careerless, Familyless and Friendless, But There is Hope, ($15.99, paperback, 9781498455497; $7.99, e-book, 9781498455503), the author shares her thoughts and experiences on career, family and friends.
The book's purpose is to take the author’s life experiences in the lack of career, family and friendships in hopes that others will glean valuable insights for a more positive experience in their own life. The author does not want other people to go through as much heartache as she did. She wants to teach others to learn from her mistakes and make better choices towards the career of their dreams – as well as deeper and more fulfilling people connections and relationships. Her hope is that readers will walk away encouraged and not feel alone – and use life experiences for good.
“I have wanted to write my life experiences for quite some time, but finally got brave enough to follow through with it,” states the author. “This book is for all of you who have had struggles with ‘the’ career of choice, the biological family you were born into, or by some other means ended up in, and the friends you have had or lost.”
Karrisa Josselyn has a Bachelor of Communications degree and an Education degree equivalent to a Master’s level. She has lived and experienced incredible job/career and family difficulties throughout her life. She gained life experience and skills from her biological family on what not to do and has endured 50+ jobs, but has not procured a career as of yet. She has experienced amazing friendships throughout her life, but with this busy world, finds people in her life currently do not have as much time to connect.
