YAKIMA, Wash. (PRWEB) December 17, 2015 -- How people persevere through times of hopelessness and depression is what’s truly remembered and admired about them. Leanne McDougall’s new book, The Warrior Way, shows that an ordinary, everyday person can fight through despair alongside the one true common denominator.
The main character, Leanne, finds herself in the darkest point of her life. More and more people are finding themselves in unfortunate circumstances, but The Warrior Way aims to encourage those people to live life without fear. Rather than battling the world with fear and other means of unnecessary retaliation, people can battle with love and the word of God.
“My book is a testimony to the breakthroughs in my life,” McDougall said. “The Warrior Way shares what I did to bring about those turning points with the hope that what helped me may help someone else in return.“
During the time she writes about in her book, McDougall had been struggling a great deal in her life. After the passing of her father, she, like the character in the book, found herself in a state of despair and depression. Instead of giving up and letting Satan win, McDougall decided she would fight back.
“I cried out to God and chose to let Him show me how to fight back,” McDougall said. “He was revealing these methods to me that were encouraging me, lifting me up and giving me courage like I had never had before. Troubles in my life were being solved and hurts were being healed.”
