Austin, TX (PRWEB) December 18, 2015
ESO Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of healthcare software and interoperability solutions, announced that its ESO Electronic Health Record (EHR) product has earned designation as compliant with the National EMS Information System (NEMSIS) Version 3.3.4.
With this latest designation, ESO has now gained compliance in both the “Collect Data” and the “Receive and Process” compliance categories. ESO’s Health Data Exchange (HDE) interoperability platform gained NEMSIS compliance in the “Receive and Process” category in October 2014.
“Building NEMSIS 3–compliant products demonstrates ESO’s ongoing commitment to equip prehospital healthcare providers with industry-leading software,” said Chris Dillie, President and CEO of ESO Solutions. “Now, with ESO EHR, our customers can confidently collect and submit NEMSIS 3–compliant data to their states.”
Thanks to ESO’s customer-centric approach, customers are able to view all of their data—both NEMSIS 3 and NEMSIS 2 data—within a single platform. “We made ease of transition a priority, both for customers and for state data teams,” Dillie said.
NEMSIS 3 represents the national standard in data related to emergency medical services. NEMSIS 3 is aimed at improving data quality, enhancing ability to assess EMS performance and augmenting the flexibility of the standard for state adoption.
“Empowering healthcare professionals to use patient data helps them make better-informed decisions, and in turn to improve the health of communities,” Dillie added. “At ESO, we’re proud to play a role in making that vision a reality.”
ESO EHR, ESO’s 5th generation electronic patient record system, was released in November 2015 and is garnering widespread praise from the prehospital industry.
