Within the pages of G J Richards’s new book, Get On Board Poetry - The Silver Comet, ($13.99, paperback, 9781498454865) readers will discover a poem – or part of a poem – that should relate to everyone. Each poem speaks to their past, present, or future concerning abuse (mental or physical), addiction, depression, hopelessness, procrastination, despair, everyday issues, excuses, mask wearers, game players, or family matters. She believes that with end time swiftly approaching, it is time for each person to take inventory of their relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ to ensure that they are doing things His way and not theirs. She stresses that doing things His way will earn mankind a seat in Glory/Heaven/His Kingdom.
“Prayerfully some individuals reading this book will reflect on the prodigal son, and realize that they too have a purpose even though they may be currently out of place as God anxiously awaits for them to turn and wholeheartedly serve Him,” states the author. “Hopefully they will take away a strong determination to persevere as Jabez, realizing that a name is important, but that a person makes the name and not vice versa. Because obstacles will continue to come, through the preserving and purpose realized, they can receive everything that their Heavenly Father can give them as they pray unceasingly while seeking His face to one day stand before Our Friend and Judge.”
