The survey specifically asked end users if they used predictive analytics to inform their hiring decisions and what impact it had on post-hire employee performance. The survey found that the majority of respondents always or almost always follow the recommendations of HireIQ’s predictive analytics software when making their hiring decisions. As a result, they are rewarded with improved employee retention and operational performance than if they hadn’t.
Interestingly, the survey also uncovered a disconnect between recruiting teams and their stakeholders when it comes to quality of hire. The vast majority of respondents said that quality of hire was important, but less than one-third said that stakeholder satisfaction was relevant. This suggests that recruiting teams take a myopic view as it relates to quality of hire.
