QuisLex announced today that its COO, Sirisha Gummaregula, was named a 2015 Litigation Trailblazer by The National Law Journal.
“The ‘Trailblazers and Pioneers’ list is a who’s who of the litigation professionals going above and beyond the norm, and bringing about meaningful change through their work,” said Kenneth Gary, vice president and group publisher of the National Law Journal. “The pool of nominees is incredibly strong and these 50 winners are truly models of innovation in the legal community.”
At the intersection of law and innovation for two decades, Sirisha previously spent nine years as a corporate attorney at Shearman & Sterling and served as Assistant General Counsel at Quest Diagnostics, where in addition to her legal portfolio she was responsible for Six Sigma initiatives. Sirisha’s multidisciplinary expertise was particularly suited to meeting the challenge of applying disciplines like Six Sigma to litigation, and discovery in particular. She has done so as COO of QuisLex, where her innovations have helped clients mitigate risk, reduce cost, and achieve myriad benefits from both a legal and business perspective.
“It is an honor to be recognized as a Trailblazer by the National Law Journal,” states Ms. Gummaregula, who notes that “when managing large volumes of data, litigators increasingly need to develop process and technological expertise in addition to their substantive legal skills.”
