Dave Wheat Joins Vets Plus, Inc. Sales Team as National Account Manager

Dave Wheat brings many years of success in sales of consumer packaged goods to his new position with manufacturer Vets Plus, Inc. Wheat will be a National Account Manager for companion animal business.

Wheat comes to Vets Plus after 10 years as a Regional Sales Manager with Sergeant’s Pet Care Products, Inc. He was directly responsible for generating an increase of net sales for accounts such as Publix, Ahold, CVS, and BI-LO Winn-Dixie. His management of promotional programs, along with account vision and strategies, allowed for key distribution in existing and prospect accounts. While at Helen of Troy, L.P., Wheat managed 12 broker groups representing the annual sales of accounts that included Eckerd Drug, Regis Corp, and Kroger. Wheat’s additional experience in sales includes Renaissance Cosmetics, Inc., Revlon, Inc., and The Quaker Oats Company.

Wheat received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Florida State University.
