At the groundbreaking ceremony, Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler thanked the community for the tremendous outpouring of support while noting the collaborative efforts of The Related Group, Fortune International Group and The Fairwinds Group, saying that this project is a success because it was “done the right way, by the right people, with the right goals," along with resounding support from the local community.
Also in attendance were Broward County Commissioner Chip LaMarca and Fort Lauderdale City Commissioner Bruce G. Roberts, as well as NFL legend and former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, who purchased one of the first residences offered at the project earlier this year. These notable guests, among others, gathered on the oceanfront terrace of Auberge Beach Residences’ art-filled sales gallery as two lithographs depicting Ireland’s Inn, the hotel that stood on the project site for more than 60 years, were presented to Jack Ireland, the former landmark’s namesake. Upon completion, one of the commissioned lithographs will pay homage to the site’s history among additional commissioned artworks in a ground-level gallery.
Auberge Beach Residences will capitalize on its spectacular setting along 450 feet of prime coastal frontage through maximizing indoor-outdoor connectivity throughout individual residences and public spaces, including the beachfront signature Auberge restaurant. The restaurant will feature casually elegant indoor-outdoor dining offerings and an expansive outdoor bar designed to enhance the beachside setting and signature restaurant’s lively American bistro concept.
Now under construction, the North Tower has already sold 85 percent of its residences while sales of the South Tower launched in November.
