Get It®, a leading operator of niche classified and career websites, today announced that Andrew Csontos has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Product and Engineering, and that Mike Lore has joined the company as Executive Vice President of System Architecture.
“Get It® has experienced tremendous growth the past two years,” according to Jake Peebles, CEO of Get It. “We could not pass up the opportunity to hire the team of Mike and Andrew to lead our engineering organization as it continues to expand.”
Andrew and Mike have worked as an engineering leadership team for over 15 years, with Andrew focusing on end user experience and Mike leading efforts in scalability, security, and core architecture. The duo were two of the first employees at Alexandria, VA startup Outtask.com in 1999, as was Get It® CEO Jake Peebles. At Outtask, Mike and Andrew led development of Cliqbook, a web-based corporate travel booking engine. Concur Technologies, based in Bellevue, WA, acquired Outtask in 2006, and both Andrew and Mike stayed with the new company. Andrew led Concur’s team that continuously updated the user interfaces for Concur Travel and Expense, a product created with the combination of Cliqbook and Concur’s market-leading expense reporting software. Mike took an executive role first leading the Cliqbook product and then leading multiple software architecture teams. German software giant SAP AG acquired Concur in December, 2014, and after leading their respective teams through the transition, Mike and Andrew joined Get It.
With the tightening job market, companies need improved ways to reach prospective employees. The Get It® websites such as GetPhotographyJobs.com and GetTruckingJobs.com allow employers to reach out directly to millions of people each day who receive targeted alerts. Job seekers, especially in highly-skilled manual trades, can quickly identify jobs near them and apply. Get It® aggregates job postings from across the internet and also sources open jobs directly from employers.
“Andrew and Mike will not only let us continue to expand the reach of our core job engine, but also grow our related niche classified sites and allow us to explore additional revenue opportunities,” continued Mr. Peebles. “As we move into 2016, Get It® will begin to transform and expand our current niche classified sites to become community-based platforms, with features similar to Mamapedia, to better connect seekers with buyers. Bringing in two seasoned software executives with experience creating software that had dominant market share in its industry will add incredible value here at Get It®.”
