Filiz Albrecht becomes Chief HR Officer; Hansjörg Herrmann becomes Chief Operations Officer
Ludwigsburg (PRWEB) December 21, 2015 -- On January 1, 2016 changes will made to the MANN+HUMMEL GmbH Management Board. Following five years as the worldwide Group Vice President Human Resources, Filiz Albrecht has been promoted to the Management Board in the position of Chief HR Officer (CHRO) and Labor Relations Director. Hansjörg Herrmann has been appointed as Chief Operations Officer (COO) and, after Germany and Europe, will now assume global responsibility for production at the approximately 40 plants of the globally operating filter manufacturer.
Consequently, the Management Board will in future comprise five members: Alfred Weber remains President & CEO and Manfred Wolf will continue his activities as President & General Manager Automotive + Industrial Business. In July 2015, Emese Weissenbacher was already appointed as President & CFO.

Business law graduate Filiz Albrecht (44) obtained an MBA from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, USA and began here career in 1999 with an SME within the automotive supplier industry. In 2006, she joined Erbslöh Aktiengesellschaft as Head of Personnel and Legal Affairs before moving to MANN+HUMMEL in 2011. Here, she initially managed the Human Resources Department at the German locations within the Group, before assuming responsibility for the Group-wide Human Resources activities as a member of the extended Management Board in 2012. Albrecht views HR policy as an integral component of corporate strategy. She lives with her husband in Stuttgart.
Following vocational training as a tooling technician, graduate engineer Hansjörg Herrmann (42) studied mechanical engineering at Weingarten University of Applied Sciences. Since the beginning of his professional career, Herrmann has remained faithful to the automotive industry. During a foreign assignment in the US for his then employer, BorgWarner, he obtained an MBA at Duke University. In 2011, the dedicated long-distance runner joined MANN+HUMMEL as Manager of the German plants. In spring 2015, he additionally assumed responsibility for the plants in the European region. Herrmann lives in southern Baden-Württemberg with his wife and three children.
Frank B. Jehle, President & Deputy CEO, will resign from office on December 31, 2015. Following ten successful years in that position, Jehle is looking forward to the next stage of his personal plans and will focus, inter alia, on his Supervisory and Advisory Board activities as well as on consulting services for SMEs.
