Accreditation University (AU), a division of Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), will now offer Continuing Education credits (CEs) for Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) Sterile and Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy workshops. These workshops educate compounding pharmacy personnel on the requirements needed to achieve and maintain compliance with ACHC’s PCAB Accreditation Standards, which include United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) General Chapters 795 and 797 regulations. Each workshop will be instructed by leading industry experts, including AU’s Education and Consulting Manager, Greg Stowell, and ACHC’s Associate Director of Pharmacy, Jon Pritchett, PharmD. Accreditation University has partnered with Campbell University to offer attendees the option to earn 8.75 CEs upon workshop completion.
“We strive to provide the most value for workshop participants and are pleased to offer CEs as an option,” said Greg Stowell. “The two-day course on the sterile and non-sterile compounding process is comprehensive, and we believe that offering CEs will greatly benefit participants.”
As a nationally recognized accreditation organization, ACHC places great value on continuing education in regards to achieving and maintaining accreditation.
