In-Flight Crew Connections attended the awards dinner hosted by The Charlotte Business Journal at the Hilton Charlotte Center City, where they were recognized as one of the 50 fastest-growing private companies for the third year. The prestigious award recognizes privately-owned Charlotte based companies that have demonstrated exceptional growth over a three-year period. Eligible companies must have an annual revenue of at least $1 million dollars, and be based in the 16-county Charlotte region.

Leading up to the big event, each of the 50 honorees were asked to name their office's superhero and then to capture that person in action "using their superhero powers." In-Flight Crew Connections chose Hank Guthrie as their superhero; Hank is the office "chief security officer". Many of the ICC employees are dedicated to pet adoption and particularly dog rescues. Hank, along with several other dogs, are always in the office and make for a fun work environment.
