Event Passes, which is part of the Bag Tags Inc. family of companies, will provide custom event passes for the 2016 Chevron Houston Marathon and Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute EXPO.

Adding another major marathon to our portfolio is a nice thing for us to showcase. It really positions us well to break into even more races in the coming year.

Event Passes – a company in the Bag Tags Inc. family that focuses on custom access passes – will supply custom event passes for the annual Chevron Houston Marathon on Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Bag Tags will also provide custom credentials for the Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute EXPO on January 15 and 16.

The annual Chevron Houston Marathon Race Day involves more than 250,000 participants, volunteers, and spectators, making it the biggest single-day sporting event in the city. Bag Tags has previously supplied event passes for the Houston Marathon as part of the company’s work within the racing community, which includes an ongoing relationship with the leading sports brand IRONMAN and involvement with the annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon. The company hopes to continue supplying passes for the Houston Marathon in upcoming years.

“Being able to supply credentials for those types of events cements our place within the industry,” said Tom Yamaoka, director of sales and marketing for Bag Tags Inc. “Adding another major marathon to our portfolio is a nice thing for us to showcase. It really positions us well to break into even more races in the coming year.”

The overall Race Weekend organized by the nonprofit Houston Marathon Committee also includes the Houston Marathon’s companion races, the ABB 5K and the Aramco Houston Half Marathon. The 2016 Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute EXPO is expected to attract more than 50,000 runners and fitness enthusiasts. The two-day EXPO will feature vendors from across the U.S. showcasing the latest in fitness products, running gear, and more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit with health and nutrition experts.

The event passes for the race weekend feature a blueprint style drawing of buildings. The design – which the Houston Marathon Committee supplied to Event Passes – also uses bold colors and clear lines for the credentials to make it easy to tell who’s who at the marathon.

Event Passes provides top-of-the-line passes and badges for all types of events. Bag Tags Inc. offers 48 hour turnaround in supplying high-quality bag tags to various sports teams, including USA Soccer and USA Swimming.
