U.S Security Associates (USA) is teaming up with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and hundreds of other donors to secure a joy-filled Christmas morning for thousands of less fortunate children. This is the sixth consecutive year the security company has designated Toys for Tots as the corporate holiday charity. The employees at the security company headquarters in Roswell, Georgia are excited to organize another generous outpouring of toys, books, and games.

“As one of the largest security company’s in the world, U.S. Security Associates and their employees are dedicated to the serious work of protecting life and securing assets all year-round. During the holiday season it is a nice change of pace to work collectively to make the holiday magical for those less fortunate,” Sharon Guttman, HR Business Partner and organizer of USA’s Toys for Tots drive, explained. “It is really amazing that something as simple as buying gifts for children can bring so much cheer into the office. Our team has really banded together this year to secure a little extra joy in the lives of others.”

Designated a Military Friendly® company, U.S. Security Associates is always proud to support the charities and programs organized by the military, like the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots. In particular, the Toys for Tots’ objective to help less fortunate children experience the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope for a brighter future is aligned with the security company’s own mission to protect and serve. The Toys for Tots initiative to secure a better future for less fortunate children is achieved through the simple act of giving. By participating in the Toys for Tots holiday toy drive, USAemployees are still attending to the company’s mission to safeguard life and assets; only in this specific instance the assets being secured are hope and joy.

ABOUT TOYS FOR TOTS
Toys for Tots is a national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that has helped provide happiness and hope to disadvantaged children at Christmas for 65 years. From October to December every year, members of the Marine Forces Reserve, the Marine Corps League of veterans, and local community organizations collect toys, books and other gifts for less fortunate children in more than 700 communities across all 50 states. Donated items are distributed to the children most in need with the help of local welfare agencies, churches and other community groups. Last year the Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7.2 million less fortunate children. Since 1947, over 209 million children have been assisted.
