Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) December 28, 2015
The 2016 Salt Lake Home Show opens its doors on Friday, January 8, 2016 and continues through Sunday, January 10 at the South Towne Expo Center. This year, the Home Show team welcomes Taniya Nayak, interior designer, HGTV celebrity and lead designer on Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible. Also, Andy and Candis Meredith, husband and wife team from Provo, Utah and stars of DIY Network’s Old Home Love, join the celebrity guest lineup.
While attending the Boston Architectural College, Nayak began building a name for herself in the design world. Her talents first caught the attention of ABC Family, which opened the door to bigger opportunities. As the lead designer on Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible and the host of several HGTV shows, Nayak’s mission is to show homeowners that style and comfort are not mutually exclusive. At the Salt Lake Home Show, she plans on sharing design tips and tricks from years of working in the business. Nayak will be on the XFINITY Design Stage on Friday, January 8 at 5 p.m. and Saturday, January 9 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Also appearing at the Home Show are Andy and Candis Meredith from DIY Network’s Old Home Love. As Utah natives, this husband and wife team is passionate about restoring some of Utah’s most historic properties. Home Show goers have the opportunity to learn safe and money-saving techniques to renovation projects. The Merediths will be on the XFINITY Design Stage on Friday, January 8 at 7 p.m., Saturday, January 9 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, January 10 at 1 p.m.
This year’s Kitchen Stage features Chef Ryan Hogan, author of Gentleman’s Bistro Cookbook, and Chef Nettie Frank, owner of Beyond Glazed Doughnuts and contestant on Food Network’s Cake Wars. Additionally, the Home Show welcomes back Tiny Home Row and Fabulous Front Porches—both showcasing the DIY skills and creativity of design bloggers from Utah.
