Drs. Allie and Michael Hamstead of AlignLife of Simpsonville were thrilled to collect so many toys for A Child's Haven in Greenville, SC.

This year, AlignLife of Simpsonville set a goal to collect one hundred toys for a local charity. They began collecting donations following Thanksgiving and continued until December 18th. In turn, the doctors donated a free exam and consultation for every two toys donated including x-rays at no charge with a donation of ten toys. Their extraordinarily generous patients answered the call with open arms and gave toys of all age types and sizes. There was even a small bicycle donated. All of the Greenville area AlignLife clinics joined forces in this toy drive. They set a goal to donate more toys than had ever been collected in previous years. As a group, the Greenville area AlignLife clinics were able to raise over 375 toys and give them to children in need.

This was accomplished through a nonprofit organization called A Child’s Haven. They are dedicated to transforming the lives of young children who have experienced developmental delays or behavioral challenges. Many are victims of poverty, child abuse or domestic violence. They provide hope where there is no hope. We meet families where they are, and give them the tools they need to look beyond their current circumstances.
