Fastspot Redesigns Ohio Wesleyan University Website
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) January 05, 2016 -- Fastspot, an interactive design agency headquartered in Baltimore, partnered with Ohio Wesleyan University to launch a redesign of its primary institutional website: http://www.owu.edu. Objectives of the redesigned site were to showcase the warmth and happiness of the OWU community while streamlining the navigation to be much more intuitive.
“Our new website hasn’t just taken us to another level, it’s taken us to another world,” said Will Kopp, Chief Communications Officer at Ohio Wesleyan University. “The response has been incredibly positive from prospective and current students, faculty, and donors — both for the look and functionality. Visitors are spending much more time on our website, viewing nearly four times more pages.”
Work on the redesigned site included the assessment of needs for the University, information architecture, design and front-end development. In keeping with Ohio Wesleyan’s preferred technology platform, Fastspot developed the site’s templates and integrated them with BigTree CMS.
“The Big Tree content management system has been easy to learn, allowing a very small communications team of non-web experts to build out our entire website. We're happy we made the switch to this CMS,” stated Kopp.
