Anthony Delmedico Launches Book to Transform Insurance Restoration Industry
LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) January 07, 2016 -- Storm Ventures Group founder and CEO Anthony Delmedico recently published Win the Game, a 350-page comprehensive book to help construction and restoration industry owners scale and succeed in the insurance restoration industry. Win the Game is the first book of its kind for contractors and industry entrepreneurs who want to get started and scale their company in the explosive $100 billion dollar industry and help property owners recover after major storm events such as hurricane, tornado, hail, wind, water, fire, flood.
“This is much more than just a book. Win the Game is a full-color manual that provides contractors and entrepreneurs in the insurance restoration industry the “working blueprint” for rapid company growth. I am a licensed public adjuster and a general contractor. I have never seen a book like this in the industry, and am already making many changes in my company. I especially enjoyed the chapter on winning adjustments and the appraisal process. In addition to the book, Storm Ventures Group provides many systems, programs, contracts, forms and documents that we needed to scale our company. I look forward to hearing Anthony Delmedico speak at the annual Storm Ventures Group Win the Storm conference coming up on March 3-4, 2016,” says Carolyn Hawkins, president, S.C.C. general contractor and public adjuster.
The Win the Game book includes an insurance restoration industry overview and valuable information on how to scale into the niche industry. The book includes sections on the importance of a speed to market mentality, leadership, sales team training and management, field training, staff accountability, contingency agreements and contracts, marketing and publicity, customer relationship management, how to launch commercial divisions, insurance adjustments, appraisals, supplementing, production, and the popular Storm Ventures Group vision statement exercise.
There is an increasing demand for insurance restoration work annually due to catastrophic storms such as hail, wind, hurricane, fire and flood causing $100 billion in property damage globally according to NatCatService. According to the National Climatic Data Center, the U.S. sustained 178 weather and climate disasters since 1980 in which overall damages/costs reached or exceeded $1 billion. The total cost of these 178 events exceeds $1 trillion.
“As with any business venture, this industry has its fair share of risk, pitfalls, failures and heartache. I have seen many successes and failures and candidly share them both in this book, hoping to save companies hundreds of thousands of dollars in costly mistakes and offering valuable advice to steer construction companies to expand their businesses to help property owners recover after major storm events. I’m a veteran, I’ve served my country, and helping others in a real-time environment is what I’m good at. I’ve spent over 15 years helping property owners quickly and effectively recover after major storm events,” says Anthony Delmedico, author of Win the Game, founder and CEO of Storm Ventures Group and the annual Win the Storm conference.
In 2000, Delmedico launched his first restoration company in the basement of his home with a card table and six folding chairs and sales literature. In 10 years, Delmedico opened offices in 18 states and one in Australia and took his insurance restoration company to $170 million in revenues. Prior to becoming one of the largest insurance-restoration contractors in the United States. Delmedico worked in the corporate sector in a $2.5 billion publicly traded company after receiving his MBA from a top-25 business school. Delmedico is a decorated, disabled veteran who served during the first Gulf War.
“This book is my story. My personal story and company stories are woven throughout each chapter as I clearly layout the complete guide on how I did it and provide a working blueprint for future entrepreneurs wanting to expand their businesses using proven teams, systems and controls in their basic core business functions. It’s a roadmap on how to win big in the insurance-restoration industry,” says Delmedico.
