Senate Finance Committee Takes Action on 179D Extension
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) July 20, 2015 -- Concord Energy Strategies, LLC applauds a two-year extension of the Section 179D deduction that has been included in the base text, or Chairman's mark, of tax extenders legislation to be considered by the Senate Finance Committee next week. Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, Orrin Hatch of Utah, has scheduled a markup for July 21 at 11:00 am ET. The announcement is posted on the SFC’s website.
The legislation provides for an extension of the §179D deduction for buildings placed in service or retrofitted for years 2015 and 2016.
