Salt Lake City, Utah, August 5, 2013 — Salt Lake City’s first blow dry bar, h2blow, opened its doors on July 18, 2013 at Foothill Village. Long a staple of well-groomed and fashion conscious women on both coasts, the blow dry bar is a salon concept that has a singular focus on washing, drying and styling clients’ hair. A new business model for the Salt Lake City market, h2blow, will offer five signature styles for a fixed fee of $30. And, because convenience and beauty are equally important to the h2blow client, appointments are optional and the salon will offer extended weekend, morning and evening hours upon request.
“For more than 50 years, Foothill Village has been the go-to location for Salt Lake’s most creative business owners as well as the destination for fashion-forward consumers, “ said John Thackeray, owner and manager. “Foothill was designed as and continues to be a center dominated by locally owned merchants thus distinguishing us from any other mall in the state. The addition of h2blow to our community of merchants and service providers is a perfect fit for Foothill Village.”
In other firsts, h2blow has the Utah exclusive to the UNITE Professional Salon System of hair care products. h2blow will use the UNITE line—favored by celebrities for it’s ability to impart unmatched luster and manageability—for its signature services as well as add-on services such as deep conditioning treatments and the Zen Ten, a ten minute scalp massage.
Additionally, h2blow is available as a party venue for bridal, birthday and bachelorette parties.
