The Production Has Achieved Goal of Releasing a Thirty-Second Horror Film Every Week for an Entire Year

Half Minute Horror will be celebrating its one year goal of producing a short horror film every week for an entire year! The production, headed by Tashina Southard and Keith Sims, will release it’s 54th episode Wednesday, October 21st at 12:00 am CST. There have been 52 regular episodes and an additional 2 specials, released every Wednesday morning.

Born out of collaboration between Keith Sims and Tashina Southard, Half Minute Horror began as a way to be continually producing work. Embracing moments of terror and challenging writers, directors, and editors with storytelling under extreme time constraints.

The production won Best Film (and a host of other awards) at the 48 Hour Film Project in Huntsville earlier this year and will represent Alabama at the Filmapalooza Film Festival March 2-5, 2016 in Atlanta. The winning film, “Match”, is available for viewing on their website, halfminutehorror.com. The short stars film & stage veterans, Danny Beene and Anna Gibson, respectively.

The production company is already preparing Season Two that launches Wednesday, January 6, 2016.
