Puroast Coffee has signed on to sponsor the BattleFrog Obstacle Course Race nationwide tour for 2015. The BattleFrog OCR is a series of rigorous courses designed by U.S. Navy Seals and created to both educate participants in the training that Seals undergo, as well as provide a fun, family atmosphere.

“We are thrilled to be able to sponsor the BattleFrog events this year,” says Puroast CEO Kerry Sachs. “It’s a unique fitness experience that we find well-suited to give people throughout the country the chance to try Puroast Coffee and learn about its unique qualities.”

BattleFrog launched their event in 2014, and building on this, has expanded their tour to include 15 race events this year. Puroast will be present at Atlanta, TriState (NY/NJ/CT), Boston, Cincinnati, Miami and Orlando.

The BattleFrog and Puroast creative teams have collaborated on a one-of-a-kind obstacle, the “Mounds of Grounds™”, where mud/dirt dunes will be covered in ground Puroast Coffee. “Our guys think Puroast’s House Blend will lend particular quality to this experience,” says Sachs.

“Puroast is a special coffee company, whose combination of rich, smooth flavor and low acid/hi-antioxidant attributes make it an excellent sponsor for BattleFrog,” says Chris Bates, BattleFrog’s Partnership Director. “Their coffee has a thumbs up from participants, volunteers, and most importantly, our field team members.”

“Puroast’s combination of rich and smooth, gourmet quality and health attributes sets the coffee apart from other brands”, says Puroast® CEO Kerry Sachs, “ we were fortunate to learn about this roasting from coffee growers in Venezuela, and bring their excellent brew to US.”

The next BattleFrog event is set for Atlanta on May 16th. Participants can register at http://www.BattleFrogseries.com.

Puroast Coffee is distributed throughout the U.S. at retailers including Kroger, Walmart, Publix, Stop & Shop, Giant, Hannaford and Whole Foods, and is online at Amazon and http://www.puroast.com.
