Sinclair Group Appoints New CEO and New Senior VP
The Woodlands, Texas (PRWEB) November 03, 2015 -- Sinclair Group, a Houston-based performance excellence consultancy, has announced that Terence (Terry) Welch as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
Terry enjoyed a successful career with Dow Chemical Company spanning more than 24 years, serving in several global manufacturing and business leadership roles where he earned a reputation as an outstanding manufacturing and business leader.
In 2007, Terry joined BP where he held a number of safety and operations management positions, including VP Process Safety and Engineering for the Global Refining and Pipelines after which he became a Global Manufacturing Leader in the Petrochemical business. Most recently, Terry joined BP’s upstream business to become Senior Vice President for Operations in Alaska.
“His vast experience in upstream and downstream operations, in-depth understanding of business delivery systems, and proven effective engagement of organizational teams will be invaluable to the Sinclair Group,” said Sinclair’s Founder and Chairman, Hank Sinclair.
In addition, Sinclair Group announced that Randy Brooks has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Global Engagement Leader. Randy will focus on organizational excellence, operational excellence, and building highly engaged teams for extraordinary client performance.
Randy joins Sinclair Group following a successful career spanning three decades as an international executive with Dow Chemical. He has worked with business leaders around the world, playing a key role on numerous business leadership teams in developing and executing strategy for corporate, global supply chain and manufacturing operations. He has specialized in a wide variety of processes involving hydrocarbons, petrochemicals, chemicals, and polymers.
