Across Systems Launches Translators' Advisory Board
Glendale, CA (PRWEB) January 23, 2015 -- Across Systems GmbH, the manufacturer of a leading application for computer-aided translation (CAT), announced today that they have launched the Translators’ Advisory Board. During a technology roundtable held last year, Across had significant success collaborating with translators to better understand their challenges and as a result of these discussions, the Translators’ Advisory Broad was established to create a setting for ongoing dialog.
The purpose of the Advisory Board is to cooperate with experienced CAT tool users to better understand challenges that translators face on a daily basis and discuss possible solutions. The feedback gathered from these discussions will be used to establish product development priorities that are most valuable for translators. The members of the Advisory Board will share their hands-on expertise and insights with the software manufacturer which will be used to help shape the future direction of the Across Personal Edition.
Two comparable boards for language service providers and industrial enterprises, established a few years ago, have yielded excellent results. The feedback and ideas shared from these boards have been directly implemented in the software for a more positive end-user experience.
