Author Andrea Anderson Reveals Heartwarming Christmas Story
EAST WENATCHEE, Wash. (PRWEB) January 08, 2015 -- Author Andrea Anderson gives readers an early Christmas treat with her new book. Bundled with colorful, vibrant illustrations and a charming narrative, “A Family for Rudy” (published by Xlibris) follows a friendly snowman who seeks a family for Christmas. This wonderful book illuminates the meaning and importance of family as children join Rudy in his journey.
In the book, a snowman named Rudy desperately wants a family for Christmas. With support from his friends and a little help from Santa, Rudy discovers what the term “family” really means and that he has had a family all along. With an engaging narrative and lively illustrations, Anderson skillfully weaves a tale that can fascinate children, teaching them the true meaning of family and how families come in all different shapes and sizes.
“There are a lot of displaced children in the world who need to be reminded that having a family applies to more than just having parents,” the author says. “A lot of kids live with aunts and uncles, grandparents, friends, are adopted, or even aren’t adopted…and I think it’s important that they are reminded to always look around and be grateful for those who are close to them and who care about them.”
A fitting story that embodies the spirit of the yuletide season, “A Family for Rudy” will not only give young readers something to read for fun but also impart to them one valuable lesson they will never forget.
