National Association of Professional Women Inducts Julie M. Roeger, LCCE, CD, CD (DONA), CHBE, Bon Secours Richmond-Love and Learn, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) December 17, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Julie M. Roeger as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. Julie Roeger and is Manager of Bon Secours Richmond-Love and Learn Program, which was originally founded in France to nurse the sick and dying in 1881 by the Sisters of Bon Secours. Their work eventually expanded to the United States and today, 22,000 Bon Secours employees provide "good help to those in need," in six states.
Ms. Roeger has been a Childbirth Educator in Bon Secours Health System for nearly ten years. Her childbirth classes include Confident Childbirth Accelerated Childbirth, and Teen Labor Basics. She also teaches Happiest Baby on the Block and several other prenatal and postpartum classes at five locations in the Richmond, VA, area. Ms. Roeger is also a certified Doula and the Owner of A Beautiful Birth Doula & Lamaze Services.
Prior to her current positions as a Childbirth Educator and Doula, Ms. Roeger was a Certified Nurse Assistant II at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC, and a Certified Nurse Assistant 1 at University Hospital of Charlotte, NC. Ms. Roeger received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
