Larry Thomas, Seinfeld’s Soup Nazi, publishes his recipes
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) February 19, 2015 -- LOS ANGELES – For years, Larry Thomas, having been besieged by fans asking him for his recipes has exclaimed, "I'm not a chef I just play one on TV". Although Thomas is an actor first and foremost, he has also spent a lifetime cooking. So to please everyone, including himself, Thomas has combined his sixty favorite recipes with the story of his thirty-five-year acting career into a book which weaves acting stories with recipes.
“Confessions of a Soup Nazi, an Adventure in Acting and Cooking” (published by Xlibris) is the memoirs of the life of the author as a journeyman actor who became an overnight success after 15 years. It is also about his favorite recipes interspersed with stories about getting that “big break,” everything that led him to that point, and all the fun things that follow along with some favorite, never-before-seen photos.
“The recipes are really good easy to cook but very tasty ways of simple cooking that anyone can do in their kitchen,” says Thomas. “Aside from that, the world has not heard the story of a well-known journeyman actor who while scraping by to make a living is seen by millions of people in almost every country in the world. I think people will be interested to see how that person lives when they are not watching him in reruns.”
An entertaining 398-page autobiography/cook book, “Confessions of a Soup Nazi, an Adventure in Acting and Cooking” reflects the day to day existence of the entertainers that bring people joy in their lives. Larry Thomas’ career has been a great challenge of persistence and drive in the face of great adversity. He hopes his story will bring hope to others who are fighting an uphill battle in their chosen career.

About the Author
Larry Thomas is an actor most recognized for his Emmy-nominated performance as “the Soup Nazi” from Seinfeld. He has been an actor for 35 years and is a veteran of many television shows, films, and hundreds of theater performances. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Thomas has been many things, including bail bondsman, bartender, and brain surgeon (well, not really brain surgeon). As a father, Larry is grateful for his family and career.
During a life of hard work, Thomas always found time for his only three hobbies: watching movies and TV, cooking, and running. Having had his lifelong fantasy of being on the big and small screen come true, he is now using his college journalism degree and adding author to that repertoire.
